A parcel of land positioned at the crossroads of
Disney World, the main challenge of this project
was getting the attention of people zooming by at
100kph. Other considerations were to make the station
self-sufficient and to design a structure that can
withstand fierce winds including tornadoes. The
unusual design, given the standardization of petrol
stations worldwide, was conceived as more of a rest
stop where tired families could catch their breath
before departing for another Disney theme park.
