Set in Sydney's newest shrine to the home improvement
market, this retail outlet was conceived more as
art gallery than shop, a place to browse stone slabs
as one might browse art works, an attempt to further
equate shopping as a cultural activity. The design
is a long spine of office areas along one side,
echoed across by the life size display of stone
panels, the 2 long sides tied together by a band
carrying services across the floor, walls and ceiling.
